Terna Medical College library (Central Library) came into existence in 1991. Central Library occupies a place of pride in Nerul, Navi Mumbai and is an essential component of the institute’s outstanding research and education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. Central Library is a valuable partner in our users’ pursuit towards excellence in learning and research. Our value lies in the valuable information resources, tools, services and facilities that we provide to all Terna Medical College staff and students.

The Central Library which collectively supports the teaching, research and extension programmers of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of Terna Medical College are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on Medical Science offers library services through its various Departments.

The primary mission of the library is to support the educational and research programs of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational and research functions of the institute. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and the research community of the institute. The secondary mission is, to serve as a resource center for the scholars and scientific community of the Medical Science. The collection of the library which includes books, journals, and reports is regarded one of the richest collections in the Medical Science , The Ultimate mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources, providing for value added services and to provide college students with the information they need to achieve their highest academic potential and help them acquire research skills necessary for lifelong learning. To support teaching faculty & administrative staff and to participate in cooperative information exchange within the wider library / educational community.

The library offers services such as Reference Services, Referral Service, User Guidance Service, Circulation Service, display of recent additions of periodicals and books. Current awareness service is provided comprising regular display of Xerox copies of articles published.
